Wish it was a little more affordable, but it’s fantastic for beginners. During my first round, I incubated four eggs, and three of them hatched successfully. In the second round, I incubated three eggs, and two of them hatched. I’d say those are pretty good odds for a beginner.

I’m a first-time chicken owner. I got my first hens last June. I made the decision to incubate some of their eggs. I placed four eggs inside the incubator, and at this very moment, I’m patiently waiting for the third one to hatch. I must say, this machine worked flawlessly, just as I expected. Once I plugged it in, all I had to do was periodically add water. The temperature and humidity levels were consistently perfect. Up until now, I haven’t encountered a single issue. Sitting here and witnessing my eggs hatching brings me absolute joy!

I started with a different incubator from IncubatorGuy.com that would not hold temperature for three whole days before putting eggs in, so when my eggs arrived, and it was time to place them inside, I was stressing. For two days, the temperatures were up and down, so I immediately ordered this one from Incubator Guy and ran it for 24 hours first. After it reached the desired temperature and humidity, it remained stable. On the second day of my eggs’ incubation, I made the switch, and I’m so glad I did because this incubator from Incubator Guy did not disappoint! I was able to hatch 14 quail eggs out of the 17 I put in! This was also my first time, and it’s a good little incubator for anyone trying to stay within the $100 price range!

absolutely love the temperature and humidity indicators, as well as the candling light. But the best part is the Predictive temp circuitry (I believe), which helps maintain a stable temperature, and it has been tested for accuracy. I’m not sure about its reliability during low runs.
The “Smart Incubators,” priced around 30% less, lack good external water adding and even worse, they don’t measure humidity. However, they do manage to turn and maintain a stable temperature. This makes them a great budget option, but for beginners, I would recommend the KEBONNIXS incubator. It makes the process much easier.
The biggest drawback (which isn’t too bad) is the method for controlling humidity from the outside. It’s a bit of an “all or none” situation. If your humidity is running low and you add just a little more water near the lines (bar inserts), it can easily cause a spike in humidity. This happens because when the water passes the bars, it enters an additional chamber in the center, significantly increasing the water’s surface area exposure. So, when you’re close to that bar/line level and need more humidity, add very small amounts or perhaps give a spray or two in there if you’re close. The incubator does have a useful vent, although considering the mentioned challenge, I suggest they design it to be slightly bigger.
Keep in mind that you want the vent to be open at least around 30% to ensure sufficient airflow support, so adjust the humidity accordingly.
The incubator is on the smaller side, so a temperature gradient is unlikely to be an issue. However, be cautious about this when using larger units.
